I made this animatic to serve as a proof of concept for my animated series "The Last Fire Sprite" (Working Title)! Music is a very important component of this show, so I figured this would be the best way to introduce you all to this new world!

Just about every episode of this animated series would contain an original song! The only reason this video does not contain its own original song is that I don't have the time or resources to produce one on my own as of yet.

I used "Experiment on Me" - by Halsey as a comp song for the actual song Idina would be singing in this scene.

More about THE LAST FIRE SPRITE:

A young Fire Sprite named Blaise awakens in the future to find her world completely changed. Magic is scarce and sold to the highest bidder. A twisted oligarchy holds the last living witch hostage in order to remain in power. Blaise bands together with Axel, a young street rat, in order to evade countless bounty hunters who are after the price on her head. Only together can they free the last witch and bring magic back into their world.

The Last Fire Sprite is an animated series about found family and discovering the best version of yourself. An ensemble cast of characters that enrich each other along their personal journeys and save the world along the way! Music is integral to how this story is told. Along with plenty of humor and action, almost every episode will also have its own original song that will help move the plot along. Think ATLA and Kipo with a dash of sci-fi!

Despite the series' main focus on Blaise's journey, the episode this animatic comes from is primarily about Idina.

This animatic finds our heroes in the middle of the first season. Idina has finally decided to help Blaise after half a season of trying to claim the reward on her head. Idina has gone through a LOT in the past few days and Blaise just wants to help her friend let loose. Axel knows the city of New Leviathan like the back of his hand and knows just where to take her. AND THUS THE ROCKING AND ROLLING BEGINS!

There are still two characters that will eventually join our group of heroes! Stay tuned and maybe you'll see them someday!
