This was a little something I did for my English course back in February 2019!

INSTRUCTION: Make a two minute Movie Trailer of the book "The Chrysalids".

The thing is, I did more work than I needed to. I just love these types of projects so much! (However, with this one, I did go over the two minute limit)

I wanted to go for a 40s - 50s type of trailer because they were easier to understand, unlike 90% of modern movie trailers, today.

PROCESS:

I drew the pictures (yes, all of them) using ibisPaint X,

I planned the music using Musescore,

I made the music using Garageband for iOS, I also recorded real instruments, too (except the violins).

I added the vinyl record crackling using Audacity,

I compiled the trailer using Premiere Pro,

I added the "old film effect" using After Effects,

And I rendered it using Adobe Media Encoder.

This was a few-week long process and I'm happy I got it finished!
