WHAT A NICE WALL
eeh im lost in this maze
It's so nice to see one of my fav genres, for the lack of the better word. First person square tiled mazes were always great and I love both playing them and creating them. I honestly thought that if I wanted to play these, I'm kinda limited to the actual decades old games like Wizardry, Waxworks or Phantasy Star 1, so it's cool to see a simple, but refreshing example of a flash(?) thingy that utilizes this method. It kinda encourages me to upload mine first person mazes on newgrounds (I've made three by far), so now I feel kinda inclined to send you a message after I've done that, to avoid plugging my stuff in reviews that are supposed to be about the reviewed games, obviously ^.^' While your game is short and very minimalistic, it still felt good. It had a few bits of that old school, flash game humour and it managed to pull me through despite lacking wall textures or sounds. I like how you portrayed the void beyond a few tiled ahead of you by just stretching the diagonal lines towards the center of the screen. The only tech problem I had while playing your game was that the Sun was visible from a nearby dead end despite there being a wall in front of me and that basically told me where I shoud be heading. Anyway, stay cool and don't let the 2,5 stars put you down :P
