Thanks! That all makes sense. I made it so Sir Erik can't slap you quite as often (and his slap is oh-so-slightly nerfed) and, while the stamina is the same, each slap doesn't drain it quite so much. Still challenging, but a lot more forgiving. Does the block function work for you?
You can one-shot the guy when you go fast enough. It's alright, but you could also upload the Unity files directly to Newgrounds and they'll host it. A bit annoying, but this game is alright.
Yeah, the damage algorithm definitely needs some adjusting to avoid one-slap defeats and have harder slaps useful, but dangerous to use too often. I used to upload direct to NewGrounds, but Simmer helps it load quicker. Thanks for sharing your thoughts -- it helps me plan for a possible future improvement!
Good mechanics, I know that maybe u aer still learning Unity but try to improve the Art(Characters, UI etc), If u are a programmer I recommend u using assets from another artists like in Itch.io so you only focus in programming stuff.
Otherwise, good mechanics, u have a great concept.
Thanks for the thoughts! This is all just placeholder art, so yeah, I will definitely put together some better art is I decide to take this further. For now, it's just testing out the idea of using the Unity physics to simulate slapping someone. Thanks for commenting!
