Back door themed adventure. Graphics have a nice use of color and Polish. Gameplay was still fun in this third episode of the series.
You continue your journey through the empty otherworld, having just completed a job for the mysterious man on the phone. Unsurprisingly you soon find yourself with a new job, this time in a world of birds and trains. You follow through with your new task, slowly coming closer to finding the truth around your predicament.
Door 3 is the latest chapter in a series of games I have been working on for some time. I hope you enjoy it!
Controls are listed by mousing over the controller symbol on the top right corner of the game screen. There’s also a volume toggle in the same location, and the controls are configurable from the main menu.
Keep an eye out for hidden secrets and Easter Eggs!
EDIT: There's now a walkthrough available! https://solarvagrant.tumblr.com/post/625206915027402752/door-3-walkthrough
EDIT 2: With the deprecation of Flash, it's unfortunately a bit harder now to play the game. Until the Newgrounds Player is able to support the game, I'd recommend playing through Flash Forwarder Tools: https://sonucais.newgrounds.com/news/post/1145224

Hint for the easter egg: Maybe you should wake that bird that's been asleep this entire trip...
Just had a great time replaying Door3, though I had to download it because it was really lagging in Ruffle. I had forgotten how much there was to this game and the various discussions with NPCs. I hope Door4 gets made someday.
Forgot about this, I'm glad i remembered to check it out
To solarVagrant,
I remember playing Door 2 when I was in my 3rd grade on a game stealing website of my country, and it stands a lot of my childhood. After the years, as some of the people might play PvZ or SM63 again, I also long for playing these old games I used to play before.
It took some time for me to find Newgrounds and realize that this is the place where many of the games begin, including Henry Stickmin, Super Mario 63, and most importantly, this game.
Never had I thought of that this series has the third episode!
The gameplay is as amazing as it was before, and the music has brought the game to a new level which I never noticed.(Honestly, I never noticed a game's music and SFX. Guess that decreased lots of fun :P)
Personally I wish this game will have the 4th level, but I understand that people has far less time after time passes. We become busier dealing with jobs and daily lives and have to giving up on something. I cannot just told you to make next level as if you are a billionaire and don't need to worry about other stuff.
So, if you see this, I hope that you can pursue your dreams, and that you won't waste your talents shown in these games.
With joy, Brain
