It was a good idea but executed a tad poorly.Let me explain
When you're using a mouse , its difficult to drag down in the opposite direction of where the player is moving with how fast the player was falling and the lava was coming up.
The game would work well on a touch screen device with these mechanics but not with a mouse.

It's very fun at its core but there's not really much to it. Something as simple as a score system would be a great incentive to keep playing.
