Cute! I think you should take the idea and see what interesting things you could do with it. Maybe they also get a random occupation that gives them different clothes to wear, be in a different pose? Or maybe you could play around with them, they could react to your mouse cursor. Or they could be generated to interact with each other as they age, being friends and hanging out.

There could even be a little story that describes them and what they do and the things they get up to for amusing or heartfelt results.

You don't have to do the hardest task you can think of, be creative and come up with something you can accomplish that adds something substantial to the experience!

I don't understand what you were trying to do with this but it doesn't have enough substance to be enjoyable. I don't know exactly what you would need to do to make it of higher quality but I would like to see something be done. Sorry if this sounds pompous, but I couldn't think of a better way to word my thoughts.
