Bugs I've found in the game:
- WASD controls barely work (or at least not for me) - W makes you jump and go left, D makes you go right then stop, and there is a lot of stuttering when moving using WASD.
- Arrow keys - these controls work fine, however up and down keys also scroll the entire page up and down. These keys should be locked to just affecting the game.
This game is not really that great if I'm being honest here. Level design is just all over the place and the bugs with the controls just makes this game unpleasant. Platforms should not go beyond the screen too often and you should not subject the player to making blind jumps. If you want the player to jump blindly, the margin of failing should be small. Otherwise just show the player where they should jump to.
The aesthetics of the game is not pleasing to look at. Platforms disappearing and moving towards the camera does not look good. Platforms going in and out of view constantly also makes the game and pathway confusing. Using the same images for the spikes would've been okay, but squishing the images, making them float in midair, attaching them to walls without being rotated, and having it clip through other objects in the game looks bad. The current artwork for the game is okay though, it makes the game more stylized and gives it a more personal touch.
Sound and a little BGM could do a lot for games, so consider adding those in the future.
I have played and completed the entire game. I can say that there is a lot of things that can be improved here, from visual details to level design.
