This is the prototype game made using a custom game engine I wrote using webassembly. If no buttons appear, your browser may not support webassembly in an iframe, but this is rare. Try another browser.

This is a clicker game of exploring and managing. There are five "endings" you can reach when exploring far enough, and a meta-ending to end them all.

The game adjusts to your play style a bit, so if you find something too stressful, let it go and see if you unlock something that will made the game easier. And explore the other options.

Sorry for the lack of specific info, I didn't think if would be needed since you should be exploring and learning on your own. My later games will have tool-tip info. Here are a few hints:

First two unlocks are: damaging a room, reaching $2500.

The Devil wants to see "good" people turn "bad". You may have to soft-reset to prove yourself "good".

Except for Devil and Not-Devil endings, you shouldn't have to reset except for fun.

One ending requires a lot of cash. Try to set up to idle and leave the game for hours.

Please consider supporting my games. I'm a independent developer doing experimental things, and may not be able to afford doing so for too long.

Good luck!

This was my first game, so it's fairly arbitrary. But highscore says you didn't reach an ending, so you never got to the interesting parts anyway.

this is awful

kygron responds:

It was my first game and really just a test of the game engine. I'm surprised it's rated as high as it is. Though it does get better once you get used to it and start reaching some of the endings. How far did you get?

yeah, I don't really like this game. I don't think it's broken, I think it's just not fun.

i dont get it, i've been stuck after unlocking the ghost ending... i unlocked library and workshop and lessee, but no idea how to lease the entire house

kygron responds:

You're on the right track, but just unlocking something won't cut it for the other endings. You have to use them, try to use them more, and see what they're good for. To lease a house, for example, you have to practice with roommates first.

Thanks for playing a good luck reaching your goals!

I agree that there should be a pause button. I had to collapse the game to write this review, because otherwise my roommates would all leave my house. The game should also work like this: when you hover the mouse on any button it should show you how much cash do you need for this utility. 2 questions:
1. What is the maintenance team for? They are not tidying or repairing anything.
2. What is the purpose of the ghost tours? I did not notice any benefits from it.
I will update this review while going further with the game.

kygron responds:

Thanks, I look forward to your continued updates. There's an important unlock you only get when enough roommates leave your house, so the game presses you into it. And the ghost tours counteract the negatives of losing roommates (hence the "attract people" description). I'll put something in the description about not being afraid to let go.
