Xbox Controller: Dpad to move left and right, A to jump and X to shoot. right now there is one basic level with a "Boss". This game will be updated frequently what is seen now is not going to be the final product.

**Please use the controls listed for this game (other inputs may not work correctly yet), if your using a different controller than Xbox use at your own risk!**

Hey Arc! I think you got the right idea!
It reminds me a bit of gunvolt which is pretty cool.
I think it does need alot of improvements, however.
It's very glitchy, the movement seems a bit off, and the UI is pretty bad.
BUT I think the concept is there! I hope you continue to work on this!

Oooh, I like the movement of Liz! She is very realistic! WELL DONE with the graphics and mechanics of the main character's movement. I am using A and D with J to shoot and spacebar to jump. I also found that by holding down the J key for a bit, then releasing it gives an extra boost hit. I am having trouble with all these different keyboard controls. That speaks to my own personal dexterity as I totally prefer arrow keys for movement. Also, in some areas, the ability to crouch would be helpful. All in all, a great prototype platformer with well above average avatar appeal. Well done!

No matter what I did, I couldn't turn left. Shooting direction was stuck right, and even while stationary the character was stuck with its running animation.

Like the character art, there's an issue with arrow keys in which a direction will stick, a/d work though, perhaps make them part of the same function in the movement handling part of your code. Like the music. Not sure why this is M rated though.

You have a solid foundation here, the main thing you need in order to improve, is practice.
And maybe a gimmick to spice things up a bit. Like a healing ability that depletes your battery and prevents it from charging for a bit, locking you out of power attacks for a few seconds.

Keep at it Friend.
