the text behind them completely distracted me first time through. The art looked cool, but there wasn't enough reveal to get me interested. I understand its a teaser, but the meat of the matter is lacking

Taking into account animation is a chore, this isn't much of a teaser. Artwork and effects show promise, but that's about it. Sorry that's all I can offer.
