Hedgy should have a cross over with sonic the hedgehog. This game is a 10/10 experience. This game is also fun to speed run.

well, it was cute!

Very cute, and a nice change of pace.
Maybe you could make it an action adventure where you dodge the Roombas to collect the cookies? Naw, just kidding. This seemed like just the right speed for this adventure.

The drawings were cute, the concept was cute, and they do make cute pets.
Buttons worked, and it was easy to get them to take me in the intended direction.

Down sides: the story was a bit short.
Also: "try again" didn't seem to make much sense after achieving victory.
The only decision I seemed to have was "left or right" and no particular reason to try 1 over the other, other than trial and error.

Some ideas to flesh it out: have an option to "sniff the air" and give some clues when the player chooses to.

At the top of the stairs, the player could sniff and detect "a sweet smell coming from downstairs" you might also smell something coming from one of the other rooms.

"You can smell cat/dog smell from the room to your right"

At the bottom of the stairs, you might have the option to "listen"
Hints could be "a soft whirring sound coming from the left"
and "a low hum" coming from the right.
This would hint that the Roomba is to the left, and the refrigerator / kitchen is to the right.
Adding a hall between the bottom of the stairs and either of the rooms, the player could be met with "sounds like something is moving" in the hall leading to the Roomba, with the option to keep going or turn back.
In the other hall, similar options with "the hum seems to be getting louder."

awesome hedgehog game
