Pros:
Selections work.
Game doesn't freeze up.

Cons:
Hardly any game here.
Green on blue on black is hard to read.

The dark green text on a variable dark blue/black background is difficult to read.
I can imagine it is even worse for someone blue-green color blind.

I would suggest you choose more contrasting text so the player can read it easily.
