Literally what we gotta do to survive now.
Literally what we gotta do to survive now.
Could use some tweaking, but everyone is racing to have their coronavirus game out while it's still relevant. Could not see my life points/score; it was cut off by the frame.
I'm sure this game is lol, but it uses something unsupported by mobile so I can't play it
Right off the bat, as soon as I start up:
No sound controls right off the main menu. I had no way to adjust the sound as soon as I opened the game, and the title screen soundtrack can be very annoying if your speakers play loud.
Instructions screen:
Change the font and background. This combination makes it very hard to read unless you get really close to the screen. Just change the font color or the background color so it's much easier to read.
Gameplay:
Very basic gameplay, I don't even think you'd need a full instruction screen with bullet points. You could probably get by with a quick graphic showing what each object is worth in points/lives i.e. Capsule = +1 Life. That being said, the vertical view is pretty short considering the goal of the game, so if something's far off on the opposite side you have no chance to get it. It'd be better with a higher vertical ceiling so we can see what's falling earlier and plan accordingly. Obviously no change in difficulty, you could play this game endlessly without it speeding up on you.
Game over screen:
Same issue as the instruction screen. Either change the font color or the background color so it's easier to read.
Overall:
I mean, you clearly put alot of effort into this flash. The game wasn't that unique, not all the expected features were fleshed out, no real goal in it besides staying alive. That being said, this is a good attempt at a first time flash game, and if you continue to work on your skill I'm sure your future uploads will be just as good, if not better.
