It has a story and a simple gameplay, I find it very relaxing and it has an 'atmosphere' that I never felt in another game, it is wonderful

SpaceMama is a pixel-art space shooter inspired by the story of a mother who goes to space to distract the authoritorian forces that control Earth. As wave after wave come for her with little to no hope to survive, her child leaves in a escape ship to another world, to a better future.

Not bad for a quick top down shooter. Annoying that you can't tell what's a power up and what's going to hurt you except through trial and error. Also you can only old 1 power up at a time, so any power up you get will cancel any other one you happen to have. For some reason the game lets you steer completely off screen. And I wish there was a mouse control.

That's a pretty alright infinite shooter.
I don't really like the controls though, too much inertia on the ship, in my opinion.
Also would be nice if pixel art was consistent, right now the pixels on the powerups, bullets and drones all seem to be different sizes. Also, for the spread-shot powerup, the bullets get rotated, rotated pixel art never looks good, IMHO.
And the "m" button to go back to main menu after death doesn't work.
