too easy

PatrickZochAlves responds:

Congrats!

A lot of people say world 7 was too hard, it's good to see there are hardcore gamers that don't complain ;-)

Relaxing

PatrickZochAlves responds:

Hi Darkovith,

Thanks for the review, I think the music and overall atmosphere play a lot in the relaxing part. But if you get to higher levels, maybe the difficulty won't let you relax ;-)

Dude. I'm going to need years of therapy after World 7.

I mean, it's a good game, but the description is deceptive. It's not simple at all. It begins simple, but as more mechanics are introduced, it becomes very complex. Some mechanics aren't explained well; for example, I think a lot of players will quit at level 6-5. The music is nice, the pace is relaxing, and it's mostly solid... until World 7. Seriously, I have no idea what you were thinking with those levels, and I'm still not sure how I beat them all. The way moveable tiles stick to the player, and to each other, made that even more infuriating.

I raged my way to the end, but with a clear head, I have to give it a good score. It merges existing mechanics in a clever way, most of the game is fun, and it's certainly one of the more unique things on Newgrounds.

PatrickZochAlves responds:

Hi MysteryMadman69,

Thank you very much for your comment, I'm really glad! And thank you for playing the game until the end, I know how hard it gets. It seemed that no one was going deep in the game, I have to say it was a little frustrating... So you made my day!

There's no new mechanic in level 6-5, but there was a little bug that I just corrected in the new version, so thank you for pointing it out. I also added the total number of stars and total time in the interface, so everyone can keep track of its achivements.

I have to say that I was really trying to balance everything until World 6. In World 7, as it was the last one, I changed completly the way to play, so it has much more pression. Skill and rapid thinking are the only way to get it.

By the way, I changed the first sentence of the description to be more real ;-)

Thanks again and let me know if you have any more comments!

it doesnt work

PatrickZochAlves responds:

Hi Cygrus,

I'm really sorry the game doesn't work for you, could you tell me what is your config? (kind of computer and which browser are you using)

Unfortunately it seems it doesn't work under Safari, but I don't know how to fix this... Normally if you use Google Chrome it should work.

Thanks for trying and commenting!

Not bad, but I personally think you should use WASD or arrow keys instead of the mouse. There should be a penalty from touching the walls, otherwise the game is too easy. Some more animations would also help.

PatrickZochAlves responds:

Hi nullBinary,

Normally you should drop the triangle and lose a little bit of time when you touch a wall (and don't the shield star), does it do that for you?

About the WASD, I actually developped the game thinking about touch screens, that's why I use the mouse over the keyboard. We'll see if it works in the future.

Lastly, most of people say the game is pretty hard, if you could develop a little more about why you find it easy it would be great, I then could adjust the difficulty. By the way, could you tell me in which level you stopped?

Thanks for playing and commenting!
