[Update] SideScrolling Shooter Experiment

Share Collapse

Author Comments

In this experiment / game you have to shoot blue blocks to earn some coin which you can use to buy some upgrades to get better. The waves get harder every day so keep earning more to combat the difficult waves. This game was made in a few hours so don't except much. I made this game because I was trying to make a side scrolling shooter. So this is a experiment not a full on game. Use WAD to move.

Okay, let's get down to business. I like the smooth movement options, but I don't like how you have no chance against the enemies eventually. Also, I think that you should add health bars. And make the buttons bigger, it's hard to read what's on them. After that, the game should be good. However, are the enemies aliens? Evil birds? Flying ice blocks? I just think that improved graphics would be good.

I am making the game less harder right now and I am going to make the buttons more bigger. I just made this game as an experiment because I was trying to make a side scrolling shooter. Also by the way I update the game.

Enjoyed the game quite a bit. The shooting is fun, the player controls well, and the enemies are relatively simple.
I got a little turned off by how fast the enemies get and how impossible it feels to combat them, despite the upgrades.

DevelopingCrazyness responds:

thanks ill try to fix that. I put it so the enemies were going to get faster but i thought that whoever is playing would be able to combat it so thanks for the feedback.

It's not working for me :/

DevelopingCrazyness responds:

well you can't rate the game if you don't know how its like.

I like it. It's very addicting lol

DevelopingCrazyness responds:

thanks for the feedback.
