I really like this game, I haven't played any bullet hell games before but this one is so cool.
I really like the healing mechanic, its easy to use when it's calm but when the screen is full of bullets it makes even more chaotic which is great. I like the way you can press space, then remember which key it is and then be able to quickly heal later. Not sure if that was intended but it's nice.
One thing I'd like is a pause screen.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it, Bullet Hells are a cool genre, just hard to get into, so seeing you have a smooth time with it is gratifying :)
The "the key required to heals stays the same" mechanic was emergent from the rules, but I figured I'd leave it in as it's a pro-player thing, and healing is mostly used by those who are already behind, so I see no reason not to favor them a bit.
Yeah, I guess a pause screen would be cool, but the damn thing is a pain in the ass to make in GameMaker :D
Also I'd imagine unpausing in an intense battle would be a hellish experience.

Not bad for a basic bullet hell game,it's actually quite fun.
