It's an interesting game, I enjoy destroying those beds and it's funny :)
This is a shooter platforming game. You're a mattress store owner and your bussiness isn't doing well. So you decide to put insects into the rival stores and make some money again... This game was made for Woowie Game Jam 2.0 by PROGameStudios.

I like the idea of using obstacles, yet having to destroy them before they go off screen. The character should be able to move back and forth. This could make room to add more mechanics (like having to be in a certain position to shoot a bed through a gap or interactive / movable objects). This would also make the jumps less impossible because it is impossible to make jumps if you are too close, which is very frustrating.
Also there is a two glitches that I found.
The first one is than more than one character spawns (like a line of code was not called to kill the player). This happened to me on level 3.
The other is that if you shoot a bug and it does not hit anything before you die it can hit a bed and "pre-bug it".
I know you only had two days to make this, but if you decide to update this game these are my recommendations.
(P.S. insection would not be the right word to use . It means "a notched or segmented part"
-Merriam Webster (unless there is a, probably obvious, pun I do not see (also I don't want to come across as a "know-it-all" or annoying, but I just wanted to point it out)))
Interesting concept, however, this concept I think would have been better off as a idle game or some management game where you have to try to sabotage the competition because this concept doesn't feel right for a platformer because this type of game would be better for something like a shooter or something. This is also really underdeveloped because the blocks look like they were made in a minute but the character looks like it took an hour to make the sprites for, there should be like a menu or something or some pause menu. A tutorial would be a great addition to this game because I didn't know that you could jump on the side of blocks until I started panicking when I was about to fall off
I'm sorry to hear that. I get your point, but this game was made in two days in a team of one, so I didn't have time for polish and making things like tutorial and pause menu. I understand that it would be probably better in some other genre, but I want to go simple and make a platformer since I had so little time. Thank you for your feedback.
Interesting idea, the controlls are fine, appropriate audio. However, it lacks instructions (That you need to destroy each bed) also lacks Back to Menu, Pause buttons during gameplay. It could also include some powerups. Also when you die, it would be a good practice to inclide a "You're Dead or Game Over" screen, so it won't just simply loop.
However, overall it's challenging with an unique idea!
I agree with almost everything that you wrote here. I didn't add these things to the game just because I didn't manage to do it in the timeframe when I was supposed to make this game. Thank you for your feedback :)
