I can see the influence of the classic Arcade game Galaga, which was also released on the original NES. It looks similar to Galaga, with a little bit of updating. The attacking concept of angering an enemy and using it as a weapon, is questionable. You either love it or hate it.

TRACTRON 2020 is a throwback to arcade invader-style shmups of the early 80s with a TWIST. Reel enemies in and use their weapons AGAINST THEM! THREE unique weapons! SEVEN levels of difficulty! How high can you score?
CONTROLS:
[ARROW KEYS] - MOVE
[Z] - SHOOT
[X] - TRACTOR BEAM
TIPS:
-Your regular shot can't HURT enemies, but it does make them ANGRY - use it to lure them in and TRACTOR BEAM them!
-Enemies will shoot at you in later stages, but don't worry - you can use CAPTURED ENEMIES to BLOCK BULLETS!

Neat game! There's some hidden depth with how you can grab enemies that are charging at you on their own, instead of having to always shoot them first, and shooting carelessly creates more stuff being launched at you anyway. The result is that this shmup requires a lot more thought about when to shoot than most. The only shame is that the content runs out so fast; this definitely could use more enemy types.
