the point of this cartoon was to see what kind of thing i could make in 24 hours. I think it turned out pretty good considering the amount of time it took! thanks coffee! rather than coming up with something new, i just decided to redo the basic plot from a cartoon i did the previous year called The Wizard and the Wombat. you can watch that too on this website if you are into that kind of thing, dog
As you said, taking into account the amount of time invested in this, I think you did a pretty solid job. Of course, except for the frogs, everything would need some polishing (you already know that), but it's fun and, honestly, in that time frame you couldn't have done too much more.
As a fun fact, I think its pace, along with the music and sfx make it very funny.
I agree, this could have definitely used some polish, not to mention some color! I was actually working on this one til the very last second, the sound effects were done in about 20-30 minutes at the very end! Making this one was actually loads of fun and I plan on doing this kind of thing again in the future! Also, thanks for mentioning the pacing! To me, timing and pacing is one of the most important things in animation. I've seen alot of works with good ideas fail because the pacing is off or treated as an afterthought. Sounds weird, but its something that I pride myself on getting right. B)
