I know you probably get asked this a lot but may I ask what you used to make this? And how you achieved this style with 3D models? (I'm really new to 3D as I just got Blender)
Was experimenting with cel shading and stepped animation. May have taken it a bit too far ^_^;;
Always loved Guilty Gear, and Xrd was everything I ever wanted from the series, so here's my experiment/tribute/fangasm hahaha

This was all done with Blender, with a bit of compositing in HitFilm Express for stuff like the Destroyed graphic.
The key to getting an aesthetic like this is to use Constant Interpolation on all your keyframes, so your assets snap from pose to pose like cel animation. For the shader, you wanna use a Shader to RGB node that leads into a Color Ramp node, to get the sharp shadows.
I will probably be making a video soon explaining the process in more detail 👍
bro this is so good!
Thanks dude 👍
It's neat! Did you get a voice for Azumi? I think it works.
yeah, hired someone on Fiverr, they did a great job!
