OverWired -UPGRADED TO VERSION 1.5-

Version 1.5:

  • Now touch-friendly and supports mobile
  • More content and more effects
  • All levels are improved
  • UI, tutorial, and game feel improved

You know what they say - never trust a space-snake.

After getting oil change and repairs done on my exo-skeleton, all of my systems are malfunctioning.

My body is doing things on its own. I can't walk without shooting or doing something weird.

What did they do? Leave some digital venom? Expect me to pass out and sell my biochips?

I don't wait. I'm coming down the snake pit. Someone's gonna pay for this.

OverWired is a retro cyberpunk side-scroller game.

You play using only 4 directions (D-PAD or arrows) and the rest of your abilities are wired to those keys due to the digital venom of the snake oil salesmen.

You must finish your quest to restore your space suit to functioning order.

There's a standalone version with some better performance and better audio here (Win, Linux, MacOS):

https://alont.itch.io/overwired

You should try downloading if the web version isn't running smoothly.

Intense

This here was a very intense game you gave it some flashy color too, a pretty decent game you have created here and shows in the outcome of it all Here is one of those game entries that you have effectively put fourth effort and comes with a good start of showings so nice work there and thats what I look forward too, Love the use of color here and its like you can go random places and the shooting was intense nice game.

~X~

I liked the image with Spaceman Craig taking a leak. I was prepared to give it a 5 right there, and then it kept going and there was more to my surprise.

Crouching is extremely slow, but I loved the game. Plus the aesthetic is great.

Alon-Tzarafi responds:

Thanks :) This has been fixed as well in version 1.5

I beat the game but it won't give me the boss medal :/ cleared lvl 13 is there some secret boss?

Alon-Tzarafi responds:

Thanks. The medals are fixed. And I've added a new medal

All the projectiles are big black squares that cover the character, making the game unplayable. Fairly certain that isn't one of the intended glitches.

Edit:
I'm on chrome

Alon-Tzarafi responds:

Edit: Thanks for the report. It's been fixed!
