This is owned by Explosm Entertainment, but I drew and animated everything here! This is an animatic, not the final animation, but if you're interested in how it turned out, click here to watch Chivalry on YouTube!

This was a surprise short for me to work on right after I wrapped up on pre-production and production work for Season four of The Cyanide & Happiness show. I love getting dark and spooky with things, but I was mindful of budget and keeping things simple and fast for production on this one.
Some of the snowman details were totally homages to one of my childhood inspirations Calvin & Hobbes and how he did snowmen. I think it's most evident with Brandon's snowman mouth after he changes back.
I had a tight tight turnaround time to get this in so it was ready in time for Christmas, which, as I type this less than a week out from Christmas- they succeeded! The animation team pulled out some surprises I never saw coming in the final production; they did an amazing job with the chest-burst and coal buttons on the torso and the camera movements in while the nose was emerging. Animation direction and execution was awesome- Explosm is getting better and better.
I got kind of derailed from posting stuff from the Seasons of the show because I've been doing contract work for Lowbrow studios and WWE storytime, as well as writing and publishing my own book through Amazon Kindle. Things have been busy, but when they slow down a bit, I'll resume assembling and uploading more stuff I've done for Cyanide & Happiness. With more to come, I'm sure!
Y'all have a Merry Christmas!

Frosty the snowman was a holly jolly soul...
I did not see that coming at all. Hilarious, loved it.
Nothing wrong with this. almost, the snowman transformation scene caught me off guard
