That's was really enjoyable to watch.
Reminds me of my first animation projects as well. ^^
Hello all of YouTube. It has been a long and exhausting journey, but I have finally completed my most ambitious animation. It took me a long time to get this video done.
Why did it take so long to finish this short 2 minute video you ask? All of it was my fault, lol. I am to blame for not getting it done sooner.
I poorly manage my time and I wasn't consistent when working on this video. If I made the effort by setting some time aside everyday to work on the video, I would have finished Humpty Dumpty a long time ago. Not to forget, when I first started this project, I didn't know where to begin. Meaning, I didn't know what to do first, and the video you are watching now is my 2nd attempt at animating the Humpty Dumpty video. There is an older version of Humpty Dumpty that's been scrapped, floating around in my external hard drive.
I kept having a lot of technical problems. For example, the flash program keeps crashing whenever I tried to design one of the brick walls. I'm guessing too much details for the flash program to handle. Flash kept crashing too many times to count, throwing off my whole schedule, messing up my whole day. Just when I took a vacation from work, to finish this video, the flash program would consistently crash! *pouts*
I experimented a lot while animating Humpty Dumpty. I can't tell you how many times I redrew different variations of brick walls. I didn't like how the first batch of brick walls turned out so I just kept redrawing them. Yes, you read correctly, I had to redraw entire backgrounds because I didn't like how they turned out.
As painstakingly grueling the entire animation process was, I learned a lot creating this video. It exposed a lot of weakness about myself, and I'm glad I went through it.
Last, but not least, I owe the biggest thank you to all of my voice actors who contribute their time and their talent to my video. I am grateful for every voice actor that I am fortunate enough to work with. I want to apologize to the voice actors for the long wait, trying to get the video animated. I just want my voice actors to know that your hard work have not been taken for granted.
I am grateful for your contributions to my video.
Thank you for your long awaited patience to get this animation finished. Most importantly, I appreciate all of my voice actors very, very, very much.
