I originally created this looping test animation a year ago to see how well the character designs hold up during animation and they work quite nicely. Razz was still the most difficult though. When I think of THE WILL OF MONSTERS, I don't think of it as a whimsical, spooky cartoon but sorta as a JRPG with Halloween elements attached. So think Final Fantasy 9 or Bravely Default but with a different coat of paint.

Its so beautiful and fun, I'm really getting Pei's sense of tenacity! I love your character designs. Pumpk and Cham kind of look Seussical in nature, with their monochromatic jumpsuits. The shorter one reminds me so much of Yugo from Wakfu for some reason. Pei's scarf looks kinda funny but I hope he's not annoying; Did you gain inspiration from Earthworm Jim for it?
Haha, well Razzberry is based on those old side characters from the Banjo-Kazooie series. You know, the ones with the big bulbous eyes on their heads. I've always dug those old games and that's what gave me the idea.
The old version of TWoM took inspiration from Dr. Seuss designs so I guess some of that carried over into this updated version.

Definitely a gif art portal submission, but super cool! NG's movie portal has full-fledged episode-length videos, series, etc, so it's not usually the kind of content it receives.
I believe the Art Portal could do with mp4 support for high quality loops and such, but yeah, that's how its done for now. Don't worry about removing or anything for sure.
Yeah, I was actually worried I might have to delete and reupload but someone else assured me i wouldnt have to do that. I will keep it in mind for the future.

Man, I really love the animation and the art-style. Very smooth and expressive. However, I do think it should have been a gif instead of an mp4 video file.
