this needs more work way to hard and unfair to the player

This game have a lot of potential...

I like the pixel art style, but I feel like that is the only thing going for this game at this point. The game isn’t really challenging because there’s no way to “win”. The counter in the top left of the screen indicates the number of zombies that have made it rather than those that you have killed, so it only serves as an indicator of how close you are to losing.

The shooting mechanics are okay, but there are some issues. There’s really no reason not to leave the cursor in a high traffic spot and simply hold down the fire button. Additionally, as noted by another poster, the blurring of the screen that occurs when the controllable character fires their rifle makes it difficult to see. Given that you need to fire the rifle the whole time, this effect seems like an added frustration.

Somethings that may make this game more enjoyable:
(1) Up player character’s bullet damage. Zombies are too hard to drop as is.
(2) Lower zombie spawn rate. Too many zombies are on screen for the player and NPCs to handle. Also, it’s a little unclear why the zombies are falling from the sky.
(3) Fix the counter system. Consider changing the existing counter to indicate HP and adding a time counter (how long you have survived) and a kill counter (how many zombies you have killed).
(4) Give the player a reason not to shoot (besides the blurring effect) OR make clicking the mouse button useful. Consider having an extra/splash damage shot that only charges when not firing OR have the gun set to autofire (with no blurring effect) while making the mouse button throw grenades.
(5) Experience based on time survived and zombies killed before dying.
(6) Powerups. Better weapons, faster fire rate, more/better NPCs that can be purchased with experience. Player can survive longer and kill more zombies with each successive playthrough.
(7) Enemy variety: Different zombie strengths, movement speeds, and movement patterns would encourage moving the mouse.

Would be willing to revise score pending updated gameplay.

Eso de que se vea borroso no ayuda al juego.
