Unum Terram is the Latin word for one land, and in this game, it's all you have available for you to construct and deconstruct buildings to gain resources and juggle between your people's professions.

be careful not to starve your people to death and always get your army ready to fight the enemy hordes.

I tried really hard to understand this game, I even went to your own website and played it there. I think the idea is you have 4 resources, food supplies peasants and soldiers. Each turn you can select a building to use, the farm gives 5 food for each peasant multiplied by its level, the house converts 5 soldiers to peasants for each level, the castle converts 5 peasants to soldiers for each level, and the mine gives 5 supplies for each peasant multiplied by its level. Upgrading a structure does not cost a turn, but does cost supplies. You can pick the building to interact with by clicking the center pedestal. If you do not have enough food to feed your people for the turn then you will lose, if you don't have enough soldiers to fight the enemies every 10th turn then you will lose, but every excess solider than the enemies counts for a new person.

Thanks for Playing

What the hell is this supposed to be!? I click to start and all that happens is a big graphic that says it's a tutorial but makes no sense pops up that can't be pulled down. Nothing about that graphic makes any sense at all, by the way. I'm not sure what sort of drunk or stoned (or both) reasoning caused you to make that monstrosity, but it's not helpful at all!
0 stars because there's no actual game. It's too bad, I was really excited for the premise.

FadrikAlexander responds:

sorry for the bad tutorial, it was a Game Jam project so I didn't have that much time on the tutorial.

well its will be better

Screen size is off, I can't see the full hud.
That's not a tutorial. that is a graph that an Intoxicated man would make telling his best friend how to play.

Edit: Ok, first things first, Im sorry I just made a rude comment with no construction, and after a bit of trial and error this made much more sense. I must say that the screen being the correct size helped a lot. There is still one major and glaring problem: the Tutorial/UI. This is what's holding most of us back. I would recommend adding more information. text based if you could. an example "This is your kingdom, you have 10 moves before you are invaded. The number of red soldiers is what you are defending against. The gray soldiers are your defence, but your farmers can die too. Upgrade your resources to live. Try to keep a balance of food, workers, materials, and soldiers." If you can adding a pop up that details what each action does would be very helpful, or taking the mobile game route of telling exactly what you recommend for the first few rounds, or just having a ten day tutorial. This helps us know exactly what we should do. Even just updating the voice on the tutorial screen that explains what we are looking at would be great.

Is this perfect? Absolutely not, but it's better than what we started with. I think with time you could give us a great strategy game, but for now this is a good proof of concept. Just remember; if we don't know what we are doing we cannot enjoy your work.

FadrikAlexander responds:

I fixed the Screen Size if you want to give it another try.
sorry for the bad tutorial, it was a Game Jam project so I didn't have that much time on the tutorial.
