Way too hard to get started with
A wave base game made in 72 hours for the Ludumdare 45 game jam. The object of the game is to survive and rack up as much money as possible. We really ran out of time making so there isn't really an ending and might be wonky.
The idea was to upgrade everything in the game for the start menu to the ending. Sam (the AI character) does all the attacking while you do all the buying and upgrading.
We had a lot of fun making it and hope you will have fun playing it.

how do start the game
It would be nice if you didn't have to worry about buying ammo. What if Sam pressed into the base for half a second, and it automatically reloads
Clear instructions on starting the game is a requirement.
Has potential. Got slightly confused with upgrading the enemy whilst saving money on ammo at first, but somehow got the hang of it though I couldn't quite find the right balance between both (maybe that's just me) with the increasing number of waves. Graphics are fun and game play is pretty straightforward.
The strategy that always worked for me is to upgrade the enemies as much as you can without killing yourself. When you get to $25 buy the first gun upgrade this will cause a you to be op for a small bit.
