The character is way too slow for a ghost with legs. Why does it have legs? Why do they thud and crunch with each step. He’s more like a dough boy than a ghost. Even the grunting seems needless. If you’re protagonist is a ghost, it’s one of the few opportunities to cut back on the sound design. Cut the legs as well for one of those floaty ghost tales thing and it would help justify the slow floaty movement.
That said, nice music, nice visual style (black and white always goes well with light play and ghosts so you get double points). I would recommend some more mechanics around the light, other than a timer; dark areas and platforms you need light to see, places where you need less light to pass through to make it a race against time to the next light source, enemies attracted to light, activatable light sources etc. Keep it up.
