A sad view into our future, yet a very realistic one, I fear. The message is sharp and clear, almost no voice acting is needed (the radio-tune that the old man listens too fits perfect to the entire storyboard).
Beside the main story, the side plot of the boy seeing his father die in front of him (and the harvester, as I call him, collecting his dead body for water later while the boy desperately tries to stop him...) hits me right in the heart. Before the humans die, humanity dies first...
A fine animation, that creates an entire drought world, where water is more important then anything else. Thoughtful, thrilling, and with a perfect last scene - there is still some hope sparkling underneath, I guess.
