Real Stars Skybox Viewer is a stargazing app. It allows you to view the positions of the stars from any location on Earth, at any date and time of the year.

It is a WebGL build based on my Unity Asset store package Real Stars Skybox Plus. https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/slug/151290

To look around, hold down the right mouse button (or left Alt) and move the mouse.
To move, use WASD or arrow keys. You move due North, South, East or West, NOT in the direction you are facing.

Change the time and date using the GUI at bottom right. The "Auto GMT" button guesses your time zone based on your current longitude. The Speed buttons change the speed at which time passes from 0, to 1 day per hour, to 1 day per minute, to 1 day per second.

Use the "Switch Map" button to switch between the rectangular map and the polar azimuthal map beloved of flat earthers. NB, the way the stars move with your location proves the Earth is not flat!

Use the "Switch Sky" button to view the next of the three available skyboxes.

Astronomical details:
The skybox was generated using real astronomical data for the 5000 brightest stars in the sky. The size, brightness and colour of each star is based on its real magnitude and spectroscopic data.

The data for the stars is from the HYG database (The Astronomy Nexus http://www.astronexus.com/hyg by David Nash), licensed under Attribution-ShareAlike 2.5 Generic (CC BY-SA 2.5).

The rectangular earth map is from the NASA Visible Earth Blue Marble collection (https://visibleearth.nasa.gov/view_cat.php?categoryID=1484) modified to add country borders.

The polar map is by Wikimedia user Strebe (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Azimuthal_equidistant_projection_SW.jpg), licensed as Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported (CC BY-SA 3.0)
