Steve Lehman, our music man from Canada, once again knocked it out of the park. I Frankenstein edited the track to the opening scene of Pixar's Up so it tonally hit the beats, and he flipped it into something original and beautiful.

I was really stoked about this skit, and I emerged from a cloudy funk and played with ideas like the chaotic barrage of markings as he plateu'd in height, the weird and gross look of his teenage years, and playing with notes that I left for animation.

I initially drew the grandma WAY more terrifying looking. Sunken-in, cataract looking eyes, with the two-framed wiggle. Dave McElfatrick was frightened, and I enjoy creeping him out with scary imagery. He said to give her massive glasses that amplified the size of her eyes, which wound up having the opposite effect, making her look way cuter, and the punchline is stronger that way.
