Calling it retro just seems like an excuse to have basic graphics. The game doesn't really seem to have a style. The character gets stuck in the platforms constantly. And there's the lack of sound.

Retro-stylized platformer in the style of Commodore 64 and Atari. Peculiar properties:

Added 2 new levels + secret level, and fixed minor bugs, and improved the basic mechanics.

Remember the simple graphics of games 70-80 years? Especially the earliest games,then there were no skillful graphics solutions or 3D graphics, and I adhered to this style.
As for the sound, everything will be in further updates.
