Still riding the high from working on Season 3, I peppered in a couple of references in the mounds of junk in the boys room. Like a Mega Mom comic book and Ultrasoldier poster. In the final, they kept the comic, replaced Ultrasoldier with a real life C&H poster you can buy and own. They added a Painbot from Season 3 into the junk, and threw in Kubesh's amazing Cory Goblin scroll art from the Orca Wars in Season 3 as the boy's poster.

Can't remember why I gave the dad such thick eyebrows, but wound up rolling with it. It dips into red line and blue line really heavily as time went on, and that's me going loose with it so the animatic makes its deadline. That after-credits gag is totally me in a mad-dash as I've run out of time to flesh it out with black and white, like I usually do, and enjoy doing. My time management at this point in my career, June of 2017, was getting a little unstable (see earlier animatics about burnout), and looking back on it, I'm pretty proud to say it's gotten a lot better.

Unfortunately, there'll be a lot more animatics that have a whole lot of red lines, blue lines to come. I'm doing what I can now to ensure that doesn't happen again. But, whoof. Brace yourselves folks.
