Planet Stronghold (demo)

Recently a web-exporter for Ren'Py has been made available so I thought to try with something more complex than a simple visual novel :)

You take the role of a young, new recruit that somehow gets assigned to the most well-known, and well-defended, human outpost in the whole galaxy: Planet Stronghold.

As the story goes on, you'll have to choose a side in a a war that will change the destiny of the planet, and of humankind, forever.

Featuring old-school turn based tactical battles, a dynamic plot that changes based on your choices, several possible solutions to each situation using various non-combat skills, Planet Stronghold delivers a very high replayability!

Bonus content extra features:

- downloadable Soundtrack and Official Strategy Guide
- 4 new exclusive weapons will be added at beginning of the game
- you will be able to craft more than 80 extra weapons/armors using metal scraps that you'll loot from the enemies. To access the "assemble items" screen, visit Lucille in the science laboratory

Game won't run unless all blockers are turned off. In Firefox it won't run unless you have the latest version. Brave browser is fine, but gets a jerky after 30 minutes of play or so.

Very cool game, nice vibe and feelz. Great-looking characters too! Fox, is a real fox! :)

My only critique is the mouse-wheel for scrolling back through scenes is a poor choice, very easy to accidentally trigger, especially when trying to view the window (which for some reason is slightly too large for the browser).

Also I think the dice roll generators need checking. They seem 'off' even on high percentage ratings for Psionic rolls and criticals.

All in all though the game plays very well and is old-school but still able to compete with the glut of new crap that is flooding NG these days.

Thanks, will pass the comment to the coder. I used Ren'Py and now is available a web-exporter so thought to experiment with it :)
