BATTLESHIP DEFENDER

Welcome!
In this game you need to defend the battleship (your character), because red cubes go there from 4 sides. From left, right, up, and down. But how you can do it?

-You will need to shoot the red cubes!
-At the beginning of the game you have two choice about the controls. You can control the game with the MOUSE or with the KEYBOARD:
--MOUSE: You can aim with your mouse, and you can shoot with the SPACE button on your keyboard.
--KEYBOARD:You can move your ship by pressing A and D buttons and you can shoot with the SPACE button.

At every 100 Points you will get a BURST, which you can activate by pressing Q and than pressing
the SPACE button.

You get one point, if you shoot a red cube.

Other controls:
-M and N: Mute and uNmute the music in the game.
-N in the main menu: Start the MOUSE control game.
-SPACE in the main menu: Start the KEYBOARD control game.

Common problems:
-The game doesn't start: Press F5
-The game starts but there isn't a PLAY button: Press the BATTLESHIP text with you mouse!

So good luck and try to collect as many points as you can, and try to survive as long as you can! :)

Space button fire is bad control design, my browser jumps down when I hit space no matter how many times I click the game screen. Why didn't you key it to the left mouse click or any other random key? Seriously, it's unplayable as it is.

Very simple, had a bit of fun, could instead of blocks make real ships, guess u can get sprites for it easy googling.

May work as a prototype but needs a lot of polish. Sound effects would help. So would a variation of enemies and enemy AI. Perhaps some upgrades and/or new weapon options as well. Additional turrets if score high enough, maybe? Having the same thing over and over again wears the player down by boredom.
