good job bitey

Nice stuff

Well I have to say that this was pretty good stuff especially how you start it off and the music in the backround seems to really build as each new scenes comes into play and that was great visual and sound direction so for that alone you get props.

I can see why this was ranked as the worst submission for Pico Day 2019. It's just a bunch of text. I submitted a thing or two here and it had even lower ratings. I guess I shouldn't be one to talk. I guess he did talk at the end, speaking of talking. So this was more of a Newgrounds Pico Day.

It was just a celebration of Newgrounds in general. That's fine. Well, at least his learned something! Happy Pico Day 2019! Happy Mother's Day too!

I guess I was expecting something to happen? I think this was very poor all around.

Even if you just represented the story with some artwork like you did in the beginning throughout the entirety of the submission the quality would have gone way up.

The writing was boring to say the least. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen, but it was just this really poorly written plot about him learning English. Heck, you could have even saved this submission by showing him say something like cock joke at the end.

Heck, even some voices to voice over the writing could have improved this.

StylusBox responds:

I see your criticism, I tried my best to make as successful as possible, but I won't make "the joke you said" in the end, I only make stuff that is friendly to the kiddies/teens.

Imagine how cool this would've been with some actual animation between the scripts. :) Or just some voice acting in the background. I'm thinking there'd be a lot of ways you could turn this voice lesson into something fun, though as is it feels a bit... aimless. The transitions are good, and that final artwork made me chuckle a bit, but the journey there... it feels more like preparation for that final bit than much else. Inspiring music, and good text but: potential for more. All fun's good fun though! Happy Pico Day!
