I wanted to like it but it's just not dialed in whatsoever. It gives the impression that the author either hasn't completed the game on the default difficulty or has an unrealistic expectation for the audience's patience. Challenging games are good but the controls seem too touchy. I appreciate all of the content but the UI is a little too much in one place for me which makes it confusing.
It's virtually impossible to not damage your ship which means you're being bled of credits/losing even if you're passing the missions, challenging games usually are successful when the stakes for losing are relatively low and you're given a long time to master the mechanics. I felt punished even when beating the missions and clicked through the tutorial a ton.
