Every year, Titmouse encourages its artists to create a 5-second personal short for "5 Second Day". Since these folks are usually quite ambitious, these shorts tend to last longer than 5 seconds.

The audio was taken from a 20 minute stream-of-consciousness monologue I recorded, since I couldn't come up with a proper concept.

The fugue that's playing over the whole thing was written by Johann Sebastian Bach, and licensed by the Audio Network.

The monologue in its entirety can be listened to here:

Well that's a nice way to think of this particular brew! XD Fortunately I can't say I drink much such substance. Good stuff though.

I showed this to my girlfriend. Now she wants to go there. THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY LIFE!

Given the constraints you were working under, this is a fine bit of work, well drawn and distinctly colored. It was a good choice of music, too. (Side note: The fugue is from Volume 1 of the Well-Tempered Klavier, the second prelude and fugue, in C-minor.)

Nice and fliuid sync! Great!

Interesting concept for an animated short. I appreciated how the character was designed and animated here. The subtle movements and hand animations were solidly animated and added more visual flair to the surrounding area. The monotone coloring was also a nice touch for how gloomy the theme was. I suppose a bit of noise canceling on the monologue would've been nice since it kind of took me out of the immersion (and maybe some surrounding ambient noise of the pub). As I'm sure the animated subject was the prime focus of this short, I think some subtle animations in the interior would've added to the ambiance as well. Still, not bad stuff here!
