Feels like I played this game a million times before, make something original.
I was learning Javascript for a programming class in college and I made this for my final. It's nothing revolutionary, just a small arcade style bullet hell. I had a ton of fun making it. It's pretty short, but it's also pretty tough too.

Tbh that’s a fair point. The game was moreso a coding exercise though than anything else, so I wasn’t trying to break any new ground with it.
Although it's quite good there are two issues with it. 1. Movement is a little unresponsive and won't always let me move diagonally. 2. Boss needs a health bar.
This is pretty solid, honestly, everything works and is exactly what you'd want to see in a bullet hell. Bullets! It's kinda lacking in content but that just may be because of the fact that you went for a galaga aesthetic, also there's no real indicator that you're taking damage because sometimes will just kinda pass through you or they just disappear, maybe add some type of flashing effect to really hone in on the latter aesthetic of the game. But alas, this is a school project after all. Some damn fine work for a school project though, even if it's not some huge game. Damn fine work.
Pretty smooth. This needs upgrades though.
Cheerio!
