Bit surprised by the score on this. This is really well done compared to the average platformer that shows up here. The controls have a great feel; the acceleration and deceleration are smooth and just right so that it feels natural, whether running, jumping, climbing or sliding. It's not too rigid and not too sloppy, and the zoom is so easy to integrate into your movement.
The art is really good too, from something as basic as the drop shadows on the letters to the drawings and shading to the random tadpole splash you make when you jump or the scribbles that evolve from your zoom cloud. The blurry dust motes in the background give it some depth and the vertical movement with respect to the pc gives it weight.
This seems like a great start to an excellent full game. I'd love to see it fleshed out more, like adding pickups so that you have to explore and continuing the complexity and challenge increase. Nice work.
