Ah! Gangsters! Alas the show has come to an end... at least the first season.
It has been an absolute pleasure coming back to Newgrounds after such a long time. I sincerely hope that this website is going to kick around for decades to come and grows whilst doing so.
If it wasn't for this website and the OG creators from the early 2000s I would have never even conceived of the idea of pursuing a career in writing, it never occurred to me that people can make cool shit in their basements and that other people can enjoy that cool shit. I love this website with as much blood as my little nicotine addled heart can muster.
With that said, whilst releasing Dinosaur Boy we gave YouTube preferential treatment and released a week early there since it's more difficult to gather up views around that neck of the woods. Reckon with future projects though we'll just release on both platforms at the same time and leave YouTube as the place where we focus on BTS content and stuff like that, seems gross to funnel people off the site.
With that said! Dinosaur Boy Season 2 is written, but we're going to take a bit of a breather and work on some shorts before we jump on that train. It's a rough market out there for serialised content right now.
But Derek will be back. Pinkie promise.

Season 2 is written and ready for production, but we're working on some other projects in the meantime. There's going to be a post-apocalyptic radio-play coming out on the YouTube channel soon and we have a short film that is nearing completion :)
Very intense
so this was some very intense visuals the voice and narrating of this was pretty good some really nice quality there too the art and visuals were very good and the effects of different elements make this some intense moments not a lot of animation but you made up for it with the special effects and good depth of the story here, so really a pleasure to review this one.

All's well that ends well. :) Wasn't expecting that, with all the darkness leading up to this point... looking forward to what the second season has to offer too! Was a short but good one, this one. Maybe perceived as shorter since episodes came at a different pace on YT, though? Anyway good stuff. I feel like the quality was highest in the first one, and has been a bit more rushed in the sequels since but: I can't complain. Enjoying the journey, simplified or no. Audio quality seems consistent too. Nice work, good luck; hope the serial market gets back on track!

The YT videos were coming out at the same pace, just a week earlier so not much of a pacing difference. It's interesting to hear that you thought episode 1 had the highest quality, to me out of the five episodes it's the most unpolished one, but that's the delightful nature of opinions, they differ.
