Constable is a point and click adventure game developed in Adobe Flash (Adobe Animate) made in late 2016. It was my final project for my Associates Degree and it was a blast to make. I teamed up with art students who created the games assets. April West developed the 2D characters and Alex Williams made the 3D environments. The game was developed by me over the course of five school weeks. Since that time, I have added on to the game through a number of revisions. The game is a murder mystery and the player must solve the mystery before time runs out.

I tink dis suck a big big doo doo

I really like the graphics and the story but placing a lot of text in one spot is too much for some people to read.

I love these types of games. The first time I played I wasn't sure if I won or not so I played again, so maybe add a "congrats" "good job" or "thanks for playing" at the end. I honestly thought I lost lol. I'ts a bit short for a detective game though, and a lot of reading at the beginning and at the end, so maybe spread the reading throughout the game? Or even add backstories / dialog to the characters to lengthen the game a bit. But for a game made in 5 weeks it's not a bad game.

ps the art of the characters clashes with the 3d enviroment, kinda ruins the game a bit :(

This was just not fun. Several of the locations serve absolutely no purpose, lettering is often not aligned properly, it can be beaten in about twenty seconds, and the final reveal of the story in convoluted to the point of being nonsensical. If this was a project for a high school student then perhaps I'm being too harsh, but I honestly have nothing positive to say about this game.
