Pros:
The animations are good and there are some good details which give the game some character (the day/night contrast, the landing sound after a long jump, character running around in the start screen). The movement/jumping is smooth.

Cons:
The MS Paint style artwork is inconsistent. I imagine it's just 'filler' art that you're planning to improve.
"W" would have been a more natural button for jumping IMO.
There was nothing original or special about the gameplay.

I'm surprised that no one else had mentioned screen crunch yet.

the direction control needs to be less floaty for the level of fine tune traps and platforming you're going for.

Graphics are colorful, but need more detail and polish. Controls are okay, but when you die you have no idea what to do. I randomly pressed things and r restarted the game. You need more than just jumping and spikes. It needs more levels as well.
