The towns people are threatened by demons lurking at every corner. The only way to strengthen your army, is to sacrifice it. Sacrifices Must be Made, The Great Woobliticus decrees it.
WASD or Arrow Keys to move
Space or J to attack
Attack Demons to deal damage
Attack townsfolk to knock them out and pick them up
Cary townsfolk to the slab altar to sacrifice them.
A sacrificed townsfolk will be replaced by one with full health

Nice, simple style and neat premise. Enough to catch your eye for a bit of time before moving on. This is what makes Ludum Dare games fun to play every time they come around.
Great arcade style- biggest problem for me was my controls not being locked to the game- so if I hit the bottom of the screen and kept pressing down I would shoot down thanks to my sidebar. Would be nice if this could be fixed- but still an enjoyable game!

Huh, weird. This will not be a problem if you use WASD
