Directional Plate is a little game I've made with PuzzleScript. You have to find all the flag and push every crate on preassure plates.

It seems like the mechanic was used more to make the solution require more steps rather than requiring better logic. lots of times I felt all the arrows funneled down to the same path and it was just about continuing forward movement to succeed.

I didn't notice that the switching plates had a unique graphic until after I beat it. It didn't really mess me up at all, but I recommend making details like that more prominent. Lastly I recommend boiling down levels down to the smallest amount of steps that require the same logic to avoid tedium.

Hey!
Thanks for the comment. The idea of the number of move is a good idea! I've to see how I can do that!

Wow the last level blew my mind ^^ But that was nice GG :)

Unique, and I actually completed it. So I've got that going for me, which is nice

Not bad. The 8-bit style and the directional plates are great, A bit challenging and short but good game overall.
By the way, there is a bug (?), that the explorer also move when I use arrow keys to move, but such problem do not happen when I use WASD keys to move.

Bigaston responds:

Thank's for the comment!

For the movement, it's normal. The engine I use enable only the arrow key!

It is not bad. I played until the end and I liked the idea.
The game finishes quickly. I find it frustrating especially when for example you introduce new mechanics such as the warp et the blocks.
In the bigger arrows pattern sometimes there is not much of a challenge because you can only go to one direction so it is like "yes its the good way, or not its not". There is no much of strategic choice.
Despite that, I find it cool, I liked the minimalistic design, the little sounds and the time I spent on it was nice. It is a good little game that takes your brain for a few minutes and it is pleasant.
I wish there were more levels or variety of it.

Bigaston responds:

Thanks!
For now, I'm not a very good level designer, I'm a dev, so I don't have idea of more level... (That's why I want to do an upgrade in the future maybe).
