Great, great start, congratulations!
- For additional fairness, spawns could happen in fixed and indicated positions, so enemies wouldn't unpredictably appear too close to the player.
- An invulnerability timer after being damaged could be nice too.
- The enemy death sound volume is too high.
- Put some upgrades and badges and your sequel is ready!

I really like the sfx, and the game looks great. But I think it's lacking a help screen, and the whole thing just gets really repetitive after a while, I guess it'd be nice if there was more than two ammo types, if there were obstacles, and challenges like getting to a safe spot for example, levels would come in nicely with this idea too. It has potential to become really fun, but it needs work! Good job regardless, keep it up!!
Edit: You should make the game canvas a little smaller, it's too big and I can't see part of the game while playing.
