This is actually an old animation that I've uploaded originally in my YouTube channel. Now, my animation skills have improved... if I can say it like that.

Didn't expect this animation to take about a week to make. I took my upcoming series from Pivot animator to Adobe Flash, though I'm not sure when I'm going to work on the first episode. Some scenes are actually based off other scenes from other series such as Super Mario Bros Universe and Freedom Planet: Legend of the Seven Chaos Emeralds.
I’m just gonna set this one out. A fanmade/once and a life time opportunity chance of a fan series that most people would absolutely love to see! ^w^
Just good ol Mario and sonic with a mix of freedom planet and here we have the most interesting crossover in the world…in fact….iiiii may have 1 character that…I think…would be fitting for this. But honestly I was wondering maybe if you would like to hear what character would be in it from a different franchise.
I know you got better, but I just want to critique on some things.
1. Too reliant on OCs, At least a fourth of the cast.
It isn't bad for say, also you made some pretty nice OCs, but original source characters are important.
2. Font choice with Mario's home and green text was an eyesore to read.
3. The laughable MS paint artwork
4. Overused Sprite for Super mario (Mario with chaos emeralds.) be creative with it, experiment, experiment until you have a Sprite you think works.
5. Lack of exposition. We are kinda thrown into the mix, you should try starting with showing a brief clip of how they got there.
6. "Warping". An often trick that doesn't look good and unprofessional. This is when you change the sprites height, width, etc to show movement. Getting crushed is a good example of when this would work fine, but not for fighting.
A little bit of nitpicking: Not a problem, but it doesn't make much sense to make your own chaos emeralds.
I appreciate your criticism. I must admit, when making this animation I barely knew anything of how flash worked. Didn’t even know how to use fonts, didn’t know what a Vcam was and how it worked and was mediocre at best in most of my earlier animations. Oh and these characters you considered OC’s aren’t actually my OC’s. Those characters were from a game titled Freedom Planet.
