Simple. Challenging. Fun!

At first I loved the overly simple design, but these days you need a little more to hold onto people for more than a few minutes. I did like the health meter instead of lives or just dying and starting over. Game glitched out when it started and I was past the bottom of the screen where I couldn't see myself. Once I moved up it was fine. Tried to recreate it by refreshing but it didn't re-occur (might also be the crappy work computer and not the game's fault) One thing I hate about not having speakers at my work desk is I can't rate music/SFX when I play on my breaks. I have a feeling by the design this one probably sounds great :p

Thanks for your review! After reading your review I managed to accidentally recreate the bug you describe (once!), and I have uploaded what I hope is a fix. Essentially it appears that under certain circumstances, if there is a glitch (due to the game still loading into memory, thus only occurring on the first load) you might end up outside the camera. My fix is to simply teleport the player back to their start position if they wind up outside the camera for whatever reason. It's not pretty, but it beats having to restart the game!

Let me know if you run into any more trouble :)

Wow dude. I love this game!

You are far too kind!

This game was enjoyable. Has a space invader feel to it, but a little more simplified, endless, and the enemies move freely. I saw some different enemies, but I think varying them a little more might make it more interesting. Also maybe power ups might make things interesting as well. Just some thoughts. Pretty good game though!

hquake responds:

EDIT: Life pickups have hereby been added!

As you progress in the game, varying enemies will be more numerous. Your suggestion of adding life-pickups and/or powerups may well solve this problem too (as it enables people to more easily progress). It clashes slightly with the simplicity I have intended for the concept, but I will certainly take it under advicement. Thank you for the review!
